it's been a while since i blog about the food and places i've been to in seattle, so perhaps it's right about time i start updating about a few-

◘ queen mary's tea room. small, totally cute little tea room filled with tiaras, bunnies, antique tea-ware and all kinds of tea for the princess in you. love the colored sugar as well!

◘ joey's restaurant at lake union. from the closest: spicy italian pizza, baby back barbecue ribs, and ahi tuna tacos. great food and awesome cocktails. ♥ hanging out at this place!

◘ purple bellevue's cranberry bread pudding. uh, not as good as i want it to be. the best bread pudding i've had in seattle is the one at broadway grill. sadly they don't have that anymore :(

◘ purple bellevue's creme brulee and vanilla bean cheesecake. honestly, i can't really tell the difference between most of the creme brulees i've eaten so far, so i don't know if this one's more exceptional than the others. but i do love the vanilla bean cheesecake. it's encrusted by a dark chocolate layer, so it's a little bit like those chocolate-covered vanilla ice cream blocks you buy from the grocery store, except that it's filled with subtle, smooth vanilla cream inside.

◘ cafe presse's croque madame. toast + ham + melted gruyere + sunny-side egg, slap it with a french name, and i'm all for it ♥_♥

◘ remedy tea's white chai tea with little tea cookies. awesome place to chillax and gossip with your friends while sipping some tea. the ambience is definitely different from queen mary's tea room. remedy tea gives off a more simplistic and modern vibe, while queen mary's tea room makes you feel like you're in some kind of doll house. while both places house awesomely good teas (or perhaps i'm not sophisticated enough to differentiate between good tea and bad tea), personally i still prefer queen mary's tea room. just because you can feel like a little girl all over again there ;)
with love-
