how many couples do i know have broken up because of long distance? one, two, three, four, five. and, how many successful couples do i know of? one.
i guess distance can be a scary thing. people who i've personally thought will be together forever and after are... splitting up, going their own ways. and for someone like me, who will be entering that long distance phase in a matter of less than a year, LD relationships can be pretty intimidating. perhaps it's wrong to forcefully conclude that your current partner will be the one for you forever; but which person in love can resist such thoughts? how can you simply leave things to fate, destiny, or what so ever?
they say communication is key, but it's not like as though the people i knew did not communicate much. if frequency is not the key, then what can it be? it seems like two people in love today doesn't always equate to two people in love forever.
honestly, i'm afraid. i'm afraid of what the future may be. shall be. will be. the only slight comfort i have is the fact that God has always led me to the best places, so in His hands my fate shall rest.
