backlogs and updates- @ Thursday, April 29, 2010
okay, i feel like i'm always backlogged in terms of my updates up here. but yeah, lots of things happened last week, and this week as well! okay, i guess i'm not much of a chronological person, so i'll start with the latest thing, which is what i'm experiencing right now--- i'm down with a cold. i've been in bed all day yesterday, and hmm, let's see how i'd describe the experience. it'll all start with a dose of nyquil after a meal, and within thirty minutes my senses start to numb slightly, my mind slowly drifts away while sounds around me become more muffled. next thing i know, i'd slept for a good hour or so, but during the time my mind drifts off and going completely out, three hours have past. and before i know it, it's time to eat again, and take another dose.
well, thank God i feel way healthier than i was yesterday, and hope the pace of recovery would stay exponent like this.
oh, also last saturday (when i was way healthier) i attended iva's birthday, and i finally had my revenge! remember how she got me drunk on my birthday last year? this year's my turn, but i guess it was a little overdone. poor iva only had five shrimps wrapped around tiny pieces of pancetta, so i guess five shots gulped down in a matter of less than half an hour was probably... a little too much for her. anyway, i'll upload a sober-looking shot here, just so that my blog doesn't look so dry and picture-less.
