thursday day-off ♥$BlogItemTitle$> @ Thursday, February 4, 2010
it's been more than a month since i have a day-off like today. day-off when david doesn't have class too, and we go out to, just do the things we haven't been able to do on normal days. like, eating lunch at kingfish cafe. hitting the mall, just the two of us. sharing our thoughts. little things like that. little things that are apparently, simple, yet memorable in a way.
on a side note, i've just opened a chase checking account in order to get the free $100. and i also applied for their sapphire credit card. ah, i have a feeling like the limit on my card will be pretty low. and if it is, i'd probably cancel the card and forget about my wish of getting a credit card to earn some money while i spend money.
another side note, i've already met up with albert's job search agent, kyle, and she talked about the possibilities of me getting a job at starbucks' corporate center. let's hope that dream comes true! then i'll be earning $14/hr, 40 hrs a week. which equals to a balenciaga bag at the end of each month! when i can only buy one after like, working my ass off for 2.5 months at wells fargo. so let's cross fingers and pray for a better job! *grins* i long for the day i say "goodbye" to wells fargo >=)
also, i'm looking at cruise deals online right now. somehow, the idea of going on a 7-night cruise sounds very, very appealing. perhaps i wanna do that for my birthday this year :D let's pray and hope i've switched jobs by then so i have a little more to spend! ((:
anyhow, here are two pictures of the meal we had at kingfish! (:

the "jazz it slow" gumbo. love, love their gumbo. especially their cornbread. the best!

david's pulled pork sandwich. the buns are really soft and the pork is soft and bursting with flavor. one of the best seasoned fries we've had too.♥
with love-
