we've finally booked a place for this year's valentine's day! quite early, i know, but well, we heard from our friends that if we wait until the last minute to pick our place, we're most likely to get unearthly dinner hours at not-as-nice restaurants. so, we took their advice and started hunting for a good place.
so, this year, we're going to ray's boathouse! i've been there once before for my friend steffi lie's birthday, but david hasn't. so, i hope things will go g-g-great this year! looking forward :)

alas, i've completely forgotten about my whole food blog dream last year! luckily, i still managed to snap up a few shots and i really mean, FEW ><" of some of my favorite indulgences in seattle.
a couple of weeks ago, we went to try the famous baguette box in downtown seattle. i ordered their truffle fries and pork loin sandwich there. and here's the picture of the truffle fries! well, while it's true you can definitely taste the truffles in the fries, i don't really dig it that much. lack in culinary execution, or do i just have poor taste? :/
baguette box's pork loin sandwich! supposedly it has apricot aioli in it, but i don't taste anything sweet. david's drunken chicken sandwich definitely tasted much better, but i didn't take a picture of it.
what's not to love about sbux's 170cal tall, iced caramel machiatto? ♥

i've finally made up my mind and returned my LV bag last wednesday! decided that i wanna look at chanel's spring collection, or maybe even prada before i choose my new bag. hehe. anyhow, yonax has gone back to indonesia for good, and our gang of friends, alas, went down by one more. but i guess it's inevitable anyway, and soon we'll all be in indonesia, so... it's only a matter of time.
also, i've been thinking about getting a new job lately. well, the current job, first of all, doesn't pay as much. and, as a college graduate working ONLY as a teller... it's not really utilizing my degree at all. a high school grad can do my job, no bigs. perhaps it's time to move on to a bigger pool? we'll see if i can get a better job. job hunting mode: on again!

another year has passed, and another one awaits. i wonder how things will turn out this year. anyway, i have two simple resolutions for this year!
- eat healthier, live healthier. i guess i've not eaten enough servings of my fruits & veggies last year. this year should be the time to make it up. like the bible says, you are what you eat, so, better start eating healthy!
- be a better girlfriend. i guess i'll leave this one vague for now, for it might mean... look better, be more patient, or... whatever suits my boyfriend's needs. hehe. well, it's not a harm to be a better person, right?
anyhow, new year's eve was spent... in the best way in these three years in seattle. steffie, albert, david and i went to buca di beppo for dinner, and after that headed to joey's for some cocktails and a view of the fireworks at the space needle from the lake. although it was only the four of us (pretty dry compared to our usual big gang), what can i ask for more? it's better than spending new year on my mattress watching tv!
