had a really great time at gameworks today! anyway, two things made my day there. one, there was this geek at the tekken 6 counter, and he kept using christie (the character i usually use when i play that game) to defeat david and my other guy friends. it's kinda lame, cos christie's a really easy character to play, and you don't even need to know how to play tekken to actually win using that character. just move your joystick randomly, press the buttons repeatedly and you'll usually fare above average (if not, pretty well). so i showed him that i too, can play christie. and i defeated him 3-0! woohoo! so happy i showed him. hahaa. oh, and two, i defeated albert & yonax at daytona racing ^^. yayy!!
oh, and i've also finally tried eating at ipanema! so, to those who don't know what ipanema is, it's basically a brazilian steak buffet restaurant that has several branches around the U.S. so instead of going around a buffet bar and picking out your meat, they bring the meat to your table, carve it and serve it in front of you. i thought their meats were pretty good, and overall i'd give a 3.5 out of 5. the lack of stars is due to the frequency of the meat coming (which is, infrequent to say the least). i mean, you wait and wait for your meat to come, then you get full. some trick they use huh?
but overall i'm pretty happy with this saturday. come to think of it, it's the last saturday that i'm spending with david, since he's going back next week. i wish we can spend more quality time together next week, at least. well, it's true that he's only going back for a month, but i'm sure i'll miss him. especially since i've been seeing him everyday for like, a month plus now... but i'm sure we can pull through. i mean, one month. no biggies. i've done it before, lots of times, in my previous relationships. and i don't see anything in this relationship that makes it any less than my previous ones. so, i'm sure we'll be just fine (:
